Concern 24 Hour fast- December 3rd 2009

 

Well folks, its that time of the year again. The Concern 24 hour fast takes place this year, 2009, on the 3rd of December which is a Thursday.

Have you registered yet? Are you going to be taking part in the fast to protect innocent peoples lives in the 3rd world countries such as South Africa, where young children have to walk for miles just to get a drink of water.

Just imagine how lucky we are. We can get some clean water within a few seconds of our computer or mobile device normally.

At this day in age where we have Instant Coffee, Instant Dinner, Instant heat, and Instant almost everything it is so easy to forget how well off we are today. Can you imagine yourself walking miles for clean water, rummaging through bins to find some scraps of food. It certainly is very hard to imagine, however unfortunately for some children it is a reality.

To help concern, you do not have to fast, organise some activity somewhere and raise some money for charity.

Thanks for checkin back at my blog. I have not updated in a whole three days and for this I apologize. I was not feelin the best.
